PRO-LIFE RALLY July 4, 2022 - 8:10am Here are some things to keep in mind and please SHARE with anyone else you invite. 1. We will meet at 8:10am at the parking lots of the Nueces County Courthouse nearest the intersection of Lipan St and N. Tancahua. It is about a five minute walk to the event site but this will give us time to get organized. We plan for this event to last under one hour. 2. The biggest thing is this is a cheerful, prayerful, silent event on our part. Our presence there is the point. Positive pro life signs are encouraged. So make them and bring them. But we must not engage with the pro aborts. If they yell, scream, tear or take our signs or ignore us, we stay silent and pray for all the babies and mothers who have been victims of abortion and give thanks for the great victory of Roe being overturned. 3. No freedom is possible without life and this is a wonderful point to make on the 4th of July. 4. By remaining silent we will make an impact far greater than any words we can say. PS: Very important. Now that Roe is gone, the messaging needs to change. We no longer need convince society that abortion should be illegal. Remember, many of abortion the protestors are likely post-abortive. Their grief is real. Show them you care. The key convince society that women and men deserve better than abortion. Recommended slogans for signs: Women are Stronger Than Abortion Love them both Women Deserve Better Abortion Betrays Women https://studentsforlife.org/good-pro-life-sign-slogans/ |
